And at the extreme end, Wyoming’s Secretary of State dissolved three North Korean companies that had fraudulently set up in the state and were, according to the FBI, raising money for weapons of mass destruction.

So when someone hears “Wyoming LLC” and thinks money laundering, that association didn’t come from nowhere. The bad actors earned it.

But here’s what gets lost.
